Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am normally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is actually just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is undoubtedly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is undoubtedly already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are actually these:

Unconditional love
Being literally able to clearly see what is definitely real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are actually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is wonderful. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is truly now in motion.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are undoubtedly present. They are generally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is truly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are usually trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be without a doubt very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual awakening is truly such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person may likely start to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be truly a serious cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this can be simply some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. Thus, he may possibly have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he begins to realize the deeper meaning of life. Therefore, he might just get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is really another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person may likely have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is without a doubt fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. It sounds odd, it is really not impossible that a person may perhaps face some paranormal incidents in his life which may be really magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might perhaps result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

5. Any incident which is certainly unexpected might take place at any time, an accident, death incident, trauma, failure, loss, etc. These can suddenly result in spiritual awakening. Suppose if a person loses someone close due to an unnatural death, he may possibly set up to find out the reasons for the incident in new ways. The constant search for further questions might possibly cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are simply out from the reality. It is undoubtedly such a state of mind where you set up to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are usually in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is generally profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be certainly clear that just having some kind of breakdown is simply NOT awakening. The changes someone makes in their external life are usually also not the point of this transformation. We’re not trying to create a more perfect or better life; people are truly ego goals. We are certainly learning to how to be free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is revealed to us what we are transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is usually complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be certainly fit into neat categories.

With that being simply said it is generally helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are generally at right now. The following stages are undoubtedly general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is usually a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you get going seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be certainly a point to all this? In this stage, you are literally asking all the deep questions. You are usually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will set up dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You might probably have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is really a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is without a doubt about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is undoubtedly always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might just become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may well have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you might just have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper personal work

In this stage, you are definitely not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep internal work. You might just become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inward child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inner work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may well feel ready to be a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is certainly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is simply not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is simply a complex and messy path, so it is generally perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described. Your spiritual awakening process is normally unique to you. I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is really an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is certainly often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated. It is simple, direct, and clear.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is truly a good time to get out your ego peeler. Initiating running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are usually and what life really is undoubtedly. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is generally the beauty of the ego peeler. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were generally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is simply important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is truly coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is generally almost like the Divine is really showing us how interior work should go. Surrender is another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy. Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is simply vital to doing inward work, but initially, surrender must come first.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is truly moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is literally often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is truly not to be certainly confused with the heart, which is definitely located to the left of the heart chakra.

Guide on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be certainly felt will keep them from being without a doubt stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are literally more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is undoubtedly sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be literally cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was certainly due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Answers on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is without a doubt causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Advice on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams may likely be usually mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are without a doubt not “dreaming” … that what is simply happening is really somehow real.

Information: You will remember what is simply important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … often several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are simply and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is definitely a feeling that something is about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Tips: There is actually nothing to worry about. Things are usually definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Solutions: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are simply ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is definitely adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Sometimes “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are without a doubt healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Knowledge:. It is usually best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be generally stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
