I looked around the internet for any sign that could help me get through this confusing time. It really helped calm me down and point me in the right direction and where I needed to go.

Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am generally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is undoubtedly just the beginning. It is actually the light coming on in the house so that you can see every thing for what it is truly. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. In some cases, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that may possibly be normally clinging on will seem like this is really all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is undoubtedly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is simply already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are certainly these:
Being normally able to clearly see what is literally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are definitely
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is really wonderful. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is now in motion.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are usually present. They are simply secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom. The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are truly being definitely cured of the illnesses in which you have been really living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is literally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are literally trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is simply healthy.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?
If you did have an awakening, you are undoubtedly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is without a doubt profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.
I want to be really clear that just having some kind of breakdown is really NOT awakening. The changes someone makes in their external life are actually also not the point of this transformation. We’re not trying to create a more perfect or better life; all those are literally ego goals. We are generally learning to how to be certainly free of ego.
To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is certainly revealed to us what we are usually transforming into.
7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is really complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be certainly fit into neat categories.
However, with that being truly said it is actually helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are simply at right now. The following stages are really general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is generally a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
In this stage, you initiate seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
There must be truly a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are without a doubt asking all the deep questions. You are undoubtedly in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will establish dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may likely have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
Life is generally about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is simply always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may possibly become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may perhaps have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is truly normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may likely have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.
Stage 6– Deeper internal work
In this stage, you are definitely not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inward work. You might become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inward child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may feel ready to be really a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is undoubtedly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is actually not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is usually a complex and messy path, so it is actually perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described. Your spiritual awakening process is without a doubt unique to you. I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is definitely an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are without a doubt here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is certainly often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated. It is generally simple, direct, and clear.
So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is normally a good time to get out your ego peeler. Beginning running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are truly and what life really is normally. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is truly the beauty of the ego peeler. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were really already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can believe that a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. However, it is simply important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is normally coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
That said, a lot of initial inner work seems to get done for us. It is without a doubt almost like the Divine is really showing us how personal work should go. As such, surrender is certainly another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy. Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is generally vital to doing personal work, but initially, surrender must come.
With that said, surrender is definitely not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is without a doubt moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are usually going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is undoubtedly often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is without a doubt not to be certainly confused with the heart, which is generally located to the left of the heart chakra.
Guide on how to deal:
Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are actually more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is simply sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be actually cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was simply due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Opinions on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is simply causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is usually hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Opinions on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be usually patient. Whatever you do, do not be really afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Many dreams may be simply mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are certainly not “dreaming” … that what is really happening is normally somehow real.
Suggestions: You will remember what is normally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … frequently several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are really and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is really a feeling that something is definitely about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Ideas: There is nothing to worry about. Things are without a doubt definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are generally around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Assistance: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are normally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is truly adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Pointers: Ground yourself by eating protein. In some cases “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Pointers:. Keep in mind that it is without a doubt best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be truly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
