Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is certainly just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is certainly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is literally already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are simply these:

Unconditional love
Being normally able to clearly see what is generally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are actually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is certainly key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is undoubtedly wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were generally acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is truly now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own. The lights in the house are certainly all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be simply a feeling that there is no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are definitely present. They are certainly secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is undoubtedly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are undoubtedly trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be actually very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is definitely healthy.

1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be really a vital cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury might possibly have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are certainly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is truly profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be actually clear that just having some kind of breakdown is NOT awakening. The changes someone makes in their external life are truly also not the point of this transformation. We are undoubtedly not trying to create a more perfect or better life; all those are generally ego goals. We are definitely learning to how to be normally free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is definitely revealed to us what we are really transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is undoubtedly complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be normally fit into neat categories.

However, with that being actually said it is actually helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are really at right now. The following stages are really general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you begin seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be literally a point to all this? In this stage, you are without a doubt asking all the deep questions. You are actually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will initiate dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may well have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is usually about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is usually always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may possibly become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You can have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is certainly normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you might just have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper inside work

In this stage, you are usually not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inside work. You may well become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your personal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may feel ready to be usually a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is definitely common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is certainly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are generally here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is actually often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated. It is truly simple, direct, and clear.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is literally a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are certainly and what life really is generally. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were normally already within us.

However, it is literally important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is literally coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

It is certainly almost like the Divine is actually showing us how inner work should go. Surrender is really another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is definitely moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is without a doubt often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is truly not to be certainly confused with the heart, which is normally located to the left of the heart chakra.

Hints on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be actually felt will keep them from being undoubtedly stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are really more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is undoubtedly sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be generally cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was normally due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Tips and advice on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is literally causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is undoubtedly hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Suggestions on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams can be really mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are definitely not “dreaming” … that what is truly happening is generally somehow real.

Tip: You will remember what is certainly important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … often several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are generally and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is certainly a feeling that something is literally about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Hints and tips: There is normally nothing to worry about. Things are really definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are certainly around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Helpful advice: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are generally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is certainly adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Sometimes “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are normally healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Recommendations:. It is simply best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be undoubtedly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
